It's SUMMERTIME!

Yea summer weather is here and we are loving it! We pulled out the amazingly tough inflatable kiddie pool that we have had for FOUR fabulous years. Even more impressive is that we got it for about $5 at Walmart - who ever thought it would last so long, especially with what these kids do to it, but it has and we love the tiny pool.



Brea was a bit hesitant. But I really can't blame her when her older siblings were flying off the slide into the pool and splashing anything within a four-foot radius. She stayed good and clear of that wonderful 'kiddie pool'!



Jackie and Dallin had a wonderful time. They didn't care that the pool only holds about 6 inches of water, and once they splashed in it half the water was out. They had a blast. I love this picture of Dallin in the pool with water splashing out, this went on for about an hour.

After the fun on the water, they discovered the fun of the mud. It was great that they were wet and in their swimsuits. The dirt stuck everywhere to them, and then all I had to do was turn on the sprinkler and it was all gone. What could be better for kids and Mom!

Right before we went in Dallin decided to try out his new goggles in the 2 inches of water left at the bottom of the kiddie pool. Only problem was - he forgot to plug his nose and close his mouth. The water unfortantly, by that time, was quite muddy. so he got a mouth and nose full. He was spitting up who knows what for the next couple of minutes. But he sure did look cute in his goggles before he stuck his head in. My friend Jenny had a picture of her boys in goggles and said how cute little boys in goggles are. I would have to agree, it doesn't get much better than that!

Jackie lost her 1st & 2nd Tooth!

Cute, muddy face Jackie with two missing teeth! She lost her 1st tooth on Saturday night. It had been lose for a while, but Saturday night it was barley dangling. She couldn't fall asleep, all she wanted to do was play with her lose tooth. Dad came in to tuck her in, gave a little tug on the toothe, and out it came! She was so excited, I don't think it hurt her a bit. She was jumping up and down and screaming. What a happy day - the 1st tooth to come out! She of course received a visit from the tooth fairy and was thrilled to recieve one of "each kind of money". (A quarter, dime, nickel, and penny). But that is not all....the next night, Sunday, the tooth right next to it had the same situation (barely dangling). She called in the pro (Dad) and in no time at all had another tooth to place under her pillow. Sure enough the tooth fairy came again, two nights in a row. She thinks she is soooo rich now and has all sorts of plans on how she is going to spend her whole $.082! Oh the joy of being young, when losing a tooth is the Best thing Ever, and receiving $0.82 seems like so much money!
