Peters Blessing

Grandma and Grandpa Ricks with the handsome little man.
Grandma and Grandpa Pirtle with Peter

 Our crazy, happy Cramer Family.
The proud Dad, he gave him a beautiful blessing and the spirit was strong.  Tears came to my eyes as I witnessed the sweet blessing of our Peter by his Father throug the power of the priesthood.

The crew from Idaho that came out.  Grandma and Grandpa Ricks and Hannah surprised us by showing up at Alyssa's soccer game out of the blue.  They told us they couldn't make it, and we totally understood and were ok with it because Grandma had been out for a week right after Peter was born, and we loved it.  They tricked us, and gave us a great surprise . We appreciated the sacrifices everyone made to be here.

Peter's middle name is Lon, after his Grandpa - a great man and a great name to honor!

Peter Lon Cramer is Born - April 8th, 2016

Peter Lon Cramer born on April 8th, 2016 weighing 8'9" and 20 inches long!  He had his Mom, Dad, and big brother Dallin there to greet him upon arrival.  We are in love!

Brotherly love, as they check each other out for the first time.  Precious!!!

The five kids together and happy.  They all love their new little brother and constantly want to hold him.
 Our peaceful Peter!
Jackie stayed in the hospital with me while Dad took the other kids to Alyssa's soccer game.  She was a big help to Mom who needed a shower badly.
Dallin decorated the door to our room at the hospital, it was very fitting.

9 Months Preggo!

This is on April 1st, my 35th Birthday.  I was showing off the yummy Ice Cream Cake my sweet husband got me for my birthday.  I was one week away from having my baby, but of course at the time I didn't know how far or close I was.
This was at the end of March, we went swimming as a family.  I wasn't going to get in, but then decided to go ahead and try it.  I am so glad I did because it felt wonderful to be in the water and be weightless.  I had a hard time getting out, it was very refreshing. I did feel a bit like a beached whale though, as I was nine months pregnant in a black maternity bathing suit.  But I didn't care, I was comfortable!
Easter Sunday with Amy Brooksby and Michelle Arnold.  Amy had her baby boy, Brigham on April 16, a week after Peter.  It was so fun to be pregnant together and to talk about what we were going through.  We all went out to dinner on April 1st as a farewell to the Arnold she are moving to Washington.  It was such a fun night, we visited and laughed and really enjoyed their company.

Lots of Snow Days in Colorado!

We got dumped and dumped on. The kids thought it was wonderful - they had three days of no school in a row!  We went sledding, drank lots of hot cholcote and appreciated our warm house, blankets, and not having to go anywhere.

Valentines Day

We enjoyed a delicious dinner prepared by Dad - his famous Steak with mushrooms and mustard sauce!  For dessert - Chocolate Fondue!  The kids were sweet to give cards and gifts to each other.  Dallin made us a woden heart that he cut out, and painted.  He added a family picture to the middle of it. I love my Family so I love Valentines Day to celebrate with these ones I love.  Jeff and I were also able to attend a nice dinner at the church that the High Priests put on for Valentines Day.

New Years Accident

As we were enjoying our vacation at Bear Lake, we received an early morning call on New Years Day.  The Landlord of the home behind us was on the other line.  She let us know that there had been accident at 4:00 am.  A truck with five drunk teenagers hit our fence, shed, neighbors shed, fence, and another neighbors fence.  She sent us this picture.  We were shocked at the damage.  It looked like a tornado had hit our backyard.  Our shed was FULL of outdoor stuff (camping gear, a wheelbarrow, lawnmower, shovels, rakes, fertilizer, paint, ect).  All of our stuff was scattered through our neighbors yard.  Wet red paint was on everything.  We were out of town and could not really help clean up, but we did call some members of the ward to come help.  We were glad to not have our kids ear the horrible crash, it was bad enough to see it when we got home, and at that time it had all been cleaned up.  The renters behind us were so nice.  They made a pile of our stuff so that we could make an insurance claim.  Through various conversations with them we came to realize that they were members of our church, but were not currently active.  We wer so glad to have such wonderful people as neighbors, they made a hard situation so much easier by their kindness.  We were able to make a claim and are in the process of getting everything replaced.  We have a new shed and fence!  Jeff and Dallin made some nice shelfs inside the shed and we have been able to organize everything inside so much beter than it was.
