Ephraim in splints

Ephraim had a Doctor appointment on Tuesday morning.  We took his casts off Sunday afternoon and tried the boots and bar again.  It did not go so well.  He had a really hard time sleeping and rubbed his heels read again.  Dr. Shaw was surprised that he did not tolerate it and said he hadn't seen anyone rub their heels like that.  He thought maybe his skin was very sensitive.  He suggested we try orthotic.  He had his PT make them that day in the office.  Ephraim is doing much better with them, he still doesn't love them and sometimes wiggles them off, but he is sleeping in them which means I am sleeping too!

Thanksgiving 2017

We went to Idaho for Thanksgiving.  Everyone loved seeing Ephraim, and the rest of us! The first night we got to Grandma and Grandpa Ricks house, after driving all day, we sat down to dinner of sloppy joes and salads and chips.  As Dallin started to eat he said very casually to Grandma, "So no Turkey this year?"  He was fine with sloppy joes for Thanksgiving dinner, but he didn't realize that we got there Wednesday night.  The next day we had quite a FEAST!

Games, Games, Games!

Grandma Jensen enjoyed the day with us, she looked so great!
Jackie celebrated her bithday in Idaho and Dallin bought her a huge hershey kiss with his own money.
Grandma made matching bibs for the two newest grandsons - Ephraim and Owen.  It was so fun to see meet Owen, he is a cutie!

Jackies party in Grandma and Grandpas new Great Room!
Thanksgiving dinner with lots of Grandpa Ricks side of the family

Ashley Burke is going to BYU-I so we invited her to Newdale to join us for aice Thanksgiving meal.  She enjoyed holding Ephraim while she was there.
The trampline, and jumping onto it form the deck, this was were Dallin spent most of his time.
 Love this!
Alyssa made a darling little turkey hat at school.  It was a bit too small for her head, but luckily she has two little brothers that it fit!

Halloween 2017

We had the Brooksbys over for a fun Halloween dinner and trick or treating.  Amy made this cute pepper pumpkin, the kids loved it with their veggie tray.  We had mummy hot dogs and soup and the famous home made root beer by Richard.
Kezia, Mary, and Alyssa are ready to go trick or treating
Isabeelle, Rose, and Brea loved hanging out together, and they looked so beautiful as fancies up!
This picture makes me smile, the two big boys - Wendell and Dallin.

We went to a fall festival at Vanguard and Alyssa got a snake painted on her face that looked really awesome, they also both got neat balloons - a ninja, turtle and sword.
We did a family day at a pumpkin patch with games, pumpkins, rides, and hot chocolate!
