Alyssa did not want to be left out at Thanksgiving. She was served a yummy feast of baby rice cereal. Unfortunately she isn't to fond of it...but we haven't ventured out to other foods yet. I think once she can feed herself she will love it.
All the kiddos enjoying pie, the best part of Thanksgiving dinner. They had a great time together and got along really good. The weather was great, so they got to play outside. (Dallins face cracks me up in this picture, I probably said "SMILE" and thus his face!)
Here is our main table. We sad down to eat and someone mentioned "where is the turkey?". Jeff had carved it and left it on the counter, we almost ate without Turkey. We might not have even noticed, there was so much other food. It was a delicious meal and good company, a great day.
We didn't quite fit at our big table, so we set up the card table for the "middle aged kids". They thought that was pretty neat. I am thankful we have good friends we could spend this Holiday with. I have a such a good life and so many blessings, it is great to have a holiday to think about blessings and to express them. My Sister-in-law wrote daily in November of what she was Thankful for and posted them on her blog. I enjoyed reading her daily entries and realized how many things I have that I don't even express gratitude for. I started a daily journal with one of the main purposed to show my appreciation for things that happened that day. I love this time of year.
Our little girl turned 7 last month! She had a "princess" party with 7 other princesses.
