The kids had an Easter egg hunt in our backyard (actually it turned into about 4 Easter egg hunts), they kept giving us back the eggs and asking us to hide them again. I am glad they liked finding the candy more than eating it...although we have done are fair share of eating candy this week. The last egg hunt, Dallin and Jackie hid the eggs for Mom and Dad. They were so cute leading us around the yard showing us "exactly" where to look.
Jackie and Dallin made these cute Easter Baskets, out of milk jugs, last year at the libraries story hour. Jackie thought she needed two to gather ALL the eggs she would find!
I celebrated my birthday this month as well. I got treated like royalty. I was woken up to breakfast in bed, and a paper crown (designed and made by Jackie) which I wore proudly. Jackie and Dallin kept asking me all day what I wanted to do for my "party" they gave lots of great suggestions: "we could play pin the tail on the donkey, or duck duck goose, ect." We finally settled on playing Zingo (like Bingo).
Jackie wanted to emphasize with me a bit, so she stuffed one of her babies in her shirt. The pregnancy is going well. We were able to see the baby on a 3-D ultrasound, that was really neat. Now it is just a waiting game for a couple more months.
