Dallins Baptism

Dallin got baptized on September 1st, 2013. It was a very special day for him and we were happy to share it with a few family members and many friends.
It is great to be  8!
I love this picture! He is a good big brother to this little cutie. She looks up to him very much and acts a lot  like him. He has set a great example to her by  getting baptized.
Family came in the day before. We enjoyed swimming, playing at the park, playing games, hiking, eating, watching movies, and just hanging out.
Brea and Aunt Elly. Elly brought a friend this trip-Garren. It was fun to have both  of  them and get to know  him better.
Dallin got a new suit and new scriptures. He wanted to get started studying those scriptures. His Dad didn't  hesitate for a moment, they both sat down and started reading. Grandma Pirtle gave him a neat bookmark and tie pin about being a stripling warrior, He uses the book mark daily and wears the pin every Sunday. He always asks  if  it is straight and looks good.
Grandma also hemmed his new pants by hand, we appreciated her service very much.
 Games, Games, and more Games.
Dallin didn't want to smile with the family. But when he was by himself you could his big, happy smile.

I love the picture of the Savior touching the childs face in the picture behind  us. I know that the Savior is happy with the decision Dallin made to be baptized.

These beautiful children sang the "Baptism": song after both boys were baptized. They were quiet silly during practice, but did a wonderful job when it was the real thing.

The special boy with a special box representing the gifts of the Holy Ghost which Grandma Ricks gave a talk on.  We were glad that both sets of Grandparents could  attend and for the long travel they both took.

Our  wonderful family members that traveled far to support Dallin. Corey was there too, just gone during the picture.
Dallin got to share this special  day with his friend Adam. They both  were baptized and confirmed.
 More Games!
And one last game before they had to leave.
Aren't they just cute! They look so happy too!
