Christmas

We had a great Christmas this year. The whole holiday season went by so fast, but we enjoyed all of it. We were able to travel to Florida this year and visit Becca's brother Tony and his family there. We stayed a week and had a wonderful time. It was a 25 hour drive in our small Toyota corolla. The kids were all three snug in the back, but they really did quiet well. A few times Mom or Dad came back and switched one of them out, but most of the time they were good. We traveled through 13 states, stopped in Georgia to visit Jeff's Aunt and family, and got to see a lot of the county we have never seen before. We would highly recommend a road trip to anyone thinking about it. Even with young kids, it was fun driving across the country. We found these gingerbread houses on clearance after Christmas, so we each bought one and had a contest - Boys vs. Girls who could decorate the best gingerbread house. The verdict: The girls was the fanciest looking but the shortest lasting. The boys was the yummiest tasting (chocolate roof) and the longest lasting. The kids really got into it, and I am sure ate more then they stuck on.

Our kids loved playing with their cousins day after day. Here they are out back having a FIESTA (in other words they ate a whole bag of chips themselves!). Santa brought a trampoline to the Ricks's so many hours were spent outside jumping on that trampoline. With up to 5+ kids jumping at a time it is amazing there were no broken bones.

These are sadly the only pictures I have of Christmas. We had to much fun watching and playing with the kids we forgot to get out the camera. Grandma made all the girls tu-tus's they were so adorable and fun.

How in the world did you do it in 25 hours? I guess they are at the top of the state and we are at the bottom. That is a whole days drive. We were in Cheyenne for Christmas this year.

That road trip sounded like a ton of fun.... but one I would never do with my three crazy boys! You are adventurous!
