We were able to get together with all of Becca's side of the family this year. It was so much fun. The cousins had a blast together and the adults enjoyed games, visiting, and being together.

Uncle Virgil has always held a soft spot in my kids hearts. What a great Uncle he is, he wrestled and played with his
nieces and nephews every day we were there.

A picnic in the forest - great company, great food, and great atmosphere - PERFECT!

We went huckleberry picking as a whole family one afternoon. The kids thought it was so much fun and lasted longer than we thought. This used to be a yearly tradition when we were all young and living at home. It was fun to go again with a much larger family and introduce our kids to something we did as children.

To keep up with the traditions. The kids (including the Uncles) had to slide down the dirt slide. I don't know if it really is steeper now than when I was a child sliding down, or if it looks steeper from a "Mothers"
perspective. I would hold my breath as a watched them come down. Then Uncle Virgil decided to RUN down, which he
succeeded in doing. Jackie thought that looked like fun,
without any hesitation she starts running down. Jeff saw her coming and started running for her,
unfortunately there was nothing he could do. She came down super fast and hit a rut at the bottom, which caused a sudden face plant. Amazingly she had very little blood and bruises, but it did knock the wind out of her, which scared her pretty bad. Aside from that it was a fun outing, and even that was forgotten after a 1/2 hour of holding and loving her.
We enjoyed the time with family and look forward to the next time we can all be together.
