Summer Birthdays

Dallin and Brea both celebrated birthdays this summer. It is fun to have parties in the Summer because you can do everything outside. For Brea, we had fun as a family outside in the pool and on the slippin slide. Brea was so cute going down the slide. She would getting a running start just like Jackie and Dallin, but as soon as she got the slide she would stop and slowly glide down. She is a fun toddler with lots of energy. She has a large vocabulary and most of the time is talking about something. She likes to play with babies and is a very good Mommy (including burping, changing diapers, and feeding). She also enjoys dressing up and changes her close at least twice a day. Lately I have been going though baby clothes for Alyssa. Brea was so excited to have new clothes. Unfortunately they were not for her, since they were 12 month and smaller. She did not let that stop her, she tried on pants and shirts and surprisingly they fit her (a bit snug but they covered her). She has a yellow dress of Alyssas that she loves. She walks around in this dress (that looks like a shirt) and the little bloomers (short shorts). I make her change when we go out!

Her only fear, at three, are animals. She screams when she sees any animal, even a cute little puppy or kitten, and runs to Mom or Dad to hold her. We love our Brea and the fun girl she is.

Dallin is all boy and keeps life exciting in our home. He thinks super heros are the coolest and wants to be one when he grows up. He says he will have fire come out of his fingers so he can get all the bad guys. He is our little acrobat and fearless at that. He showed Dad how he could do a flip on the ground, and after a sore head decided that trick was better for the bed. He can do cartwheels and head/hand stands. He has learned, from his sister, how to climb trees and climb on the roof of the playhouse. They are both little monkeys outside, little monkeys with very little fear. Dallin has a great imagination and loves to play. He also enjoys reading books and will sit very still and quite for a long time if you are reading to him. Dallin had a great birthday with lots of friends. We played outside for most of the party - Red Rover, Pinata, and sword fight (Dallin got swords and shields for his birthday which he thought was awesome). Dallin is full of life and lives life to the fullest. We love him and the fun kid he is.
