Random summer fun 2014

My kids love dressing up.  They are hilarious.  It is fun to see their wild outfits and break out in a little laugh instead of the normal strum of daily life.
I enjoy going to garage sales, the kids enjoy it too.  They have their own money so it makes taking them so nice.  They decided if they want to spend their own money on something - great lessons!  Dallin bought a really nice scooter for $2 this summer, and has had a great time riding it.  Anyway, I found this big bag of popsicle sticks at a garage sale, and the kids had a blast with it, as you can see in Dallins face.
Friends and Parks, two of the best things about summer!

Getting some Daddy attention - the kids love it.  He can tickle them, wrestle them, and fly them better than anyone else.

While Jackie and Dallin were gone to cousins camp Jeff and I checked out this river trail with Brea and Alyssa.  It was a hot day and the girls wanted to go swimming, they did get their feet wet, but the mosquitoes loved that bare skin.  We covered as much skin as possible and enjoyed a walk around.

Playdate at the mall - we found this fun store that let the kids do artwork for free!  They had so much fun creating masterpieces, and trying on funky sunglasses.

More friends and park fun!  This time we got to see a nest with tiny newborn birdies in it.  They were so cute.  They sat with their mouths wide open, eyes shut tight, waiting for food.  Mommy bird would get some kind of food in her mouth and them put some in each of her babies mouths through her mouth.  It sounds gross but it was so enthralling to watch.
The kids sat their watching, QUIETLY, for about a half hour.
