We have a tradition of opening a present on Christmas Eve. We usually wait until the evening, but this year we decided to let them open a present earlier. We are glad we did because it gave the kids all day to play with one special item. The kids all got into the spirit of giving and were really excited to give their presents as much as receive. They all wanted us to open the present from them on Christmas Eve.
Peter wasn't sure why everyone was letting him tear paper, but he was happy.
Alyssa got a baby doll that she loved and took great care of.
Brea got an American Girl Doll - Lea - her dream came true. She took Lea everywhere with her and Dad was eve able to pierce Leas ears so she could wear earrings.
Jackie got earrphones, yes she is a teenager, they were her favorite color teal.
Dallin got a circuit board. He followed the instructions at first but then figured out how to great electricity on his own and enjoyed making up his own circuits.
Dallin gave Jackie a huge bag of gummy bears, her favorite! He made Brea a cute cup full of sour patch and lined on the outside with kit kats, her favorite. He also gave the whole family the game Werewolf. We have been playing the game for over a year by using index cards. It was fun to have the real game. Brea made a sweet gift for Alyssa too, which was her favorite. She found all of Alyssas favorite characters and printed them into a coloring book with a cover that had Alyssas name on it.
