POBAL at Gooding Inn 2016

Grandma and Grandpa Ricks with all of their grandkids.  These two are the reason we have POBAL and I am so glad.  Family is wonderful, especially this one.
On the drive down.  We split it up in two days which made it nice.  Tony and Matts family were both farther away (Arizona and Alabama) they had to drive for two full days.  We were so glad everyone made it safe and sound.
The place we stayed was huge.  Virgil and Racquel found it and it worked out great for our family.  Plenty of rooms, a basement with game room and theater room and a large area to eat on the main level.  Lots of yummy food was had at Pobal.

We gave each other our christams gifts and this year we had the kis swap names with each other (as well as families like we usually do).  My kids enjoyed picking out special things for their cousins.

Virgil had asked us all to bring a Minute-to-win-it game.  We had a great time and good laughs as we watched and participated in may different games of speed, agility, balance, and determination.  Grandpa even let ice cream fall right in his eye, what a good sport!
Peter was very loved by his cousins, he had lots of attention.
Garen, Corey, Megan, and Ben balance ping pong balls on forks as they race to get them into the bowl fastest.
This picture cracks me up, in needs a title like "Pobal bored us".  Conner, Susie, Tony, and Jeralin are actually working very hard to get a cookie from their forhead to their mouth.  The concoctions they made with their face were quiet entertaining.
We took an afternoon to go sleeding in Gooding.  After taking a wrong turn and getting stuck in the snow, we found the right spot.  Good thing we had a lot of adults with us to help push the van out.
Tony and Elizabeth.  That little girl loved sledding.

Math pushed Clara and Suzanna down a little hill.  They were so scared, but once they realized how fun it was the screams turned to joy.

Garen had so much fun taht he broke the sled into three pieces.  He wasn't the only one though.  By the end of the night we had three broken sleds, but lots of happy Pobalers.

 Elizabeth gettting warm in car.
We did family pictures one evening and Mom got colored shirts for each family.

 The Ricks Gals!

These two cousins have such a fun time together.  They made some cute skits for the talent show.  I love that they see each other often enough to have such a good relationship.

 Happy Birthday Aunt Elly!

New Years Eve countdown at Grandma and Grandpa Ricks house.
Gracie, Clara, Brea, Hannah, and Alyssa playing dolls Sunday afternoon.

Such a sweet picture of Alyssa and Annie.
Jeralin was great with the babies, here she is with Emily.

Grandma Jensen came over on New Years day.  I was teaching her how to play a spy game.

Happy Birthday again to Aunt Elly.  We got to celebrate twice with her.  Once at POBAL and then later with the Younstroms.
