We started with the traditional Fire Station pancake breakfast. We gave the kids the choice if they wanted to come or not because we left early, and we walked. They all came!
Dallin got a snake face painting.
Yummy breakfast and Sister Kahutek even got in the picture, we saw her there that morning.
The helicopter landed while we were getting our face painting done.
One-Two-Three-Wheeeee!
After breakfast we headed to America the Beautiful park with the Felsteds and Brooksby Families. We rode bikes, played on the playground, ate lunch, splashed in the water, visited, and enjoyed our freedom.
Then, after the park, we had the Brooksbys over for dinner and fireworks. They have been such good friends and we really enjoyed celebrating this holiday with them. We think we should celebrate every holiday together!
Amy made this fun American Flag cake, she is so amazing1
They watched the fireworks in our neighborhood from the back of Jeffs truck. Our neighborhood had a pretty amazing show.
