Jackie dressed up for "twin" day. Her and three other friends wore this cow outfit. Mom wrote the words all fancy, not realizing the correct way to write "Eat more chicken". They were sure cute!
Jackie also did soccer for Vanguard in 7th grade. She had a great season and learned a lot. She had a nice coach and assistant coach and the girls had good team spirit.
Dallin is now in Boy Scouts and working hard on earning merit badges. Brother Unger is a devoted scout leader and Sister Unger is over his 11 year old scout group.
Dad and Brea made this beautiful painting (well two paintings) at the Community Center. They are both artistic and did a great job!
Jackie helped Dad make a new raised flower bed on our patio, as well as put together a new BBQ grill we got for Mothers Day/Fathers Day/Mom & Dads birthday.
Alyssa enjoyed soccer and was on the same team as Luke.
Bubble bath for Brea in Moms bath - awwwww!
Peter had a playdate with Brigham, they are so fun to watch together. Peter loves giving hugs, and Brigham isn't so sure about them.
The kids made pancakes that were very colorful. They put the pancake mix in these squirt bottles and changed each one to a different color. Then they made art on the fry pan. They were yummy and pretty.
We had a bird next on our roof and the baby bird fell out and into our window well. Jackie to the rescue- she lifted him to the ground. Dallin made him a nice home in a box in the backyard and fed him everyday, until one day he was gone....
Jeff performed a marriage here at Helen Hunt Falls. It was a beautiful place, a little loud, but he spoke up and did a great job performing the marriage for an older couple in our ward. (Pam Grissom)
We were able to be in Idaho over Memorial weekend. We did not make it to the Rexburg cemetery to visit Jeremy's grave, but we did go to the Shelly cemetery and see Grandma & Grandpa Christensen grave.
Cora & Zayden got to come visit from Utah. We had a fun day at the zoo and lots of fun days at home. Unfortunately the last day they were here, while jumping on the trampoline, Zayden fell and broke his leg. That is the first broken bone caused by our trampoline.
Sunday family games. Dad doesn't always get to join in, but when he can he is all in. This is an intense game of battle sheep between Jackie, Dad, and Brea.
We have been playing a lot of scum outside on the picnic table, we have nice shade from our trees and it is just more pleasant outside. It is a fun game that we can all play together.
Dallin wanted a Mohawk, so I took the picture and then cut it way shorter. He still has a bit of a Mohawk, but not so wild.
We were going to go camping, but opted to camp at home, in our beds, but make yummy camping food. It was such a good idea, the food didn't burn (we cooked our dutch oven in our oven). Yummy food, outside with the family, roasting marshmallows over the fire, then sleeping in our beds - perfect! We do enjoy going to the mountains and camping, but this was a good alternative.
