Memorial Weekend

We had company for Memorial Weekend. We always enjoy to have people visit us here in Colorado. We realize it is far to come, so we are appreciative when people do come. Grandma and Grandpa Pirtle traveled from Idaho to spend the weekend with us on their way to New Mexico and Texas.
It was a rainy weekend. We were planning on camping, but that did not happen. We were able to make tin foil dinners and cook marshmallows in our backyard, with our little chiminea. The kids loved having Grandma and Grandpa here and played with them constantly. They learned new games, like "who has the button" and taught Grandma and Grandpa one of their favorite games "Don't eat Pete". It is a game I learned in Primary as a child. It involves eating M& M's (which we always have plenty off due to Jeff's vending). Any game involved eating candy, is obviously a favorite of our kids. Pictured above is Brea hugging her Grandparents goodbye. Thanks for coming, you (or anyone else) is welcomed anytime.
