We had a wonderful Holiday season this year. We spent both Christmas and New Years with family in Idaho. We actually were only planning on spending Christmas, but the weather hindered our plans. We were able to stay for eight days, instead of six which was wonderful! We left sunny
Colorado, with no snow, and arrived in snowy Idaho. We were prepared with all our winter gear. We went sledding two times. First on Christmas Eve on the
sand dunes and then later on in the week we went sledding at Becca's brothers house out in the fields with lots of hills. The kids just enjoyed having cousins to play and be with. It was a fun vacation filled with lots of games, movies, visiting, gifts, and delicious food.

Jeffs cousin and his family. They have kids close in age to our kids. The kids had fun playing together and were sad when it was time to leave. It is nice to be able to stop by and see them occasionally when we are in Idaho.
Becca, Alyssa, and Grandpa. We got to spend Christmas Eve with a lot of Becca's family, including her Grandparents, who we don't get to see very often. Another guest at the party, happened to be Jolly Saint Nick - Santa himself dropped by and gave a little
pre-gift to each child.

Even Alyssa got bundled up to go outside, even though she did not sled. It was cold!
Grandma has the crocheted play food that the grandchildren love playing with. They use the 'city map' floor mat as their picnic blanket. They played with that food every day for hours at a time.

Alyssa (six months) with cousin Eliza (8 months). Eliza crawls all over, but Alyssa was right there with her scooting (army crawl) all over. They played on the floor so well together, taking each others toys with no cries of complaint. It was obvious that both have older siblings because they were very easy going.

Oh, this post makes me a little bit sad. I wish our plans hadn't changed so I could have made it up to Newdale while you were there. Someday soon...hopefully!
