Memorial Day Weekend

We were able to take a quick trip to Idaho for Memorial Weekend.  It was fast but so much fun.  We got to visit both sets of Grandparents, enjoy the beautiful weather, visit a couple different cemeteries and reminisce about loved ones that have passed.  Jeff and I were also able to go for an evening by ourselves while Grandma and Grandpa watched the kids.  We walked through the gardens and campus at BYUIdaho  and remembered back 14 years ago walking through that campus - holding hands for the first time and just starting out on our amazing journey together.  We love our family and are grateful for the time we were able to spend with them.

 On the way home we stopped in Denver and while Jeff did a session at the temple I took the kids  (minus Jackie who stayed at Grandma & Grandpas house) to a really fun park.  They played on the playground, the river, and the splash park.  It was a nice break an hour before home.
