Jackies Birthday

Our first child is now 9!  And a sweet 9 year old she is.  She had a great party at Chuck-E-Cheese.  She has wanted to have a party here all year.  She was ok with not getting any presents from Mom & Dad if we would just let her have a party at Chuck-E-Cheese.  And she got her wish!  She invited three of her close friends to celebrate with her.

They were all helping each other win as a many tickets as possible.  I never saw one playing a game alone. They were always together, cheering each other on.

Alyssa loved the merry go round.  She had a blast there as well, along with Brea and Dallin the lucky siblings that got to join the PARTY!

The birthday girl!  She ordered a chocolate Hershey cake, she is a chocolate lover - Yummy!

And the famous Chuck-E came to wish Jackie a very happy birthday.

She was adorned with the token crown, which she immediately took the tokens out of and shared with her friends.

Then the fun part, counting the tokens.  They had soooo many tokens.  They were at this machine for 1/2 hour feeding them in.  They all four worked together, as they were all sharing all the tokens.  To make it even greater, Jackie had the opportunity as the birthday girl to go in the ticket blaster.  She was able to grab a 1,000 ticket voucher.  With that bonus, they ended up with over 2,0000 tickets.  When it was divided between four girls, they each had 600 tickets to spend.  They were so proud of themselves for getting so many tickets.  A memorable day indeed.
Jackie got to enjoy the rest of the day by going to the movies with Grace and her family, which she was very excited about.  Jackie loves watching movies and would watch all day if allowed to.  Jackie is a very responsible and helpful 9 year old.  She has fun with her younger siblings and they all enjoy playing with her.  She is a great student and works hard on her schoolwork.  We never have to tell her to do homework, she does it on her own.  She has been taking violin for the past year and enjoys playing songs for us on it.  She is in an after-school violin class with 5th & 6th graders.  Jackie has always enjoyed dancing and this year she is in a performing troupe group.  She had three different dance classes a week and performance every other month or so.  She loves performing and has learned a lot this year.  We are so happy and grateful to have Jackie in our family.  She adds a sweet spirit to our home and lives.
