| Alyssa did a summer running club with Mr. Palmer. She did great and had a lot of fun. Mr. Palmer was her Reading teacher and she really liked him. He is also the assistant cross country coach. Jackie did cross country last year and Alyssa thought it was neat to see Mr. Palmer at her practices and meets. Jackie was going to help with this running camp, but she hyper-extended her knee playing capture the flag with friends and cannot run. |

| While Alyssa was running I took the boys on a trail walk. It was so nice to go out first thing in the morning. We even saw a DEER right in front of us on the trail. Peter was really quiet so we didn't startle it. |
