For Jeffs birthday this year he wanted to go camping for the first time of the season. The weather was good, so off we went to the mountains. Jeff found a great camping spot last year when he took Jackie and Dallin; although last year, they woke up to Cows around them! So this year we went on the other side of the guard rail! 
It was a beautiful spot, open enough that we could see the kids "exploring" yet it still had a lot of trees. The kids loved being outside all day, except for Brea. The wind was blowing a lot, and she did not like that one bit. She stayed most of the time in the van, and was perfectly content in there. They all got really dirty, which I don't understand since Brea was in the car most of the time. But that wind did get dirt on everything. It was still fun to be outside and together away from everyone and everything.
This was Alyssa's first camping trip and she did great. She slept the best of all of us. We hope to have many more camping adventures this summer. You can see by their faces in this picture that Alyssa is enjoying it a lot more than Brea.
