During the last week of school our kids woke up super early one day. I suggested we leave the house early and go to a park on the way to school. The kids love this park that is close to downtown, which we don't go to very often. We decided, since school was close to it, we could go to that park. So we were all dressed, had eaten breakfast, and made lunches by 7am! We headed to the park. Usually this park if very crowded and has ice cream carts circling through ringing there bells. But at 7 in the morning it was EMPTY! We had such a great time together. I very much like spur of the moment, out of the ordinary fun occasionally. It adds a little excitement to life.
