Our kids love making cards and letters for others. They also love to have PARTIES! So one Sunday, while Dad was gone, we decorated the living room with letters for DAD. Even
Brea wrote a letter, full of "B's". We also made goodies and the kids dressed up - at least their idea of dressing up. Their notes are so cute at this young age. They may be difficult to read, but they are full of love.
The girls have a sleepover together, dolls included. Alyssa wants to do just what the other kids are doing, and most the time she can. Her older siblings are great to try and include her as much as possible.
Nothing better than indoor
smores! Especially when you can enjoy them with a friend.
Jeff and I dressed up for a fifties dance. Jeff decided to slick his hair back, he got quite a reaction from our friends. It was a wonderful night with delicious food, fun entertainment, great dancing and time away.
This is my mean "Mom" face. It works quiet well to get the kids attention.
"Say what"
Dallin actually looks cute with Black Brows and a Gigantic Nose. He got these from treasure chest and wore them every recess that day and all the way home. We all had a good time trying them on and laughing hysterically at each other.
Of course we can't leave out darling Alyssa!
Brea, my budding hair stylist, did a fashionable piggy
longstocking on her dear Mother. She can do her own, short hair, as well. She does not like me to do it because she can do it herself. Some days it actually looks really good. In fact, she did her own hair the day she had class pictures, I had forgotten she had class pictures until she went to school. But, honestly it looked as good as if I had done it. She had the ponytail in tight and it was right in the middle of her head.
These are called "personal telephones" they were invented by the
Cramer children and only cost $25 for a hand made telephone. They are great fun, creating hours of entertainment. When you are done with your
telephones you can place them together to make a snake that goes all the way up the stairs, also very
entertaining, that is if you are 8, 6, and 4! Honestly, I love that my kids have a great imagination and can play well together for hours.
