We were able to go to Idaho for Spring Break this year. We were sad to take Aunt Elly home, we always enjoy having her stay with us. We were excited though, to see family and to attend a "Barbie" party. We had a great time at Grandma and Grandpa Pirtles house. The kids got to see cows up close and walk around on a real farm.
Jackie is a great big sister. She is very helpful and mature.
It looks like they are actually feeding the cows...they almost did. The cows came pretty close but always got scared. Dallin was pretty persistent and got pretty close.
There was a whole bunch of old tractors on the farm, so we carefully climbed up for a family picture.
Fun day at a farm. Seeing the animals up close and personal.
Dallin almost licked this salt stone (I don't know the actual name of it, but it is what the cows lick and it is salty). We decided a pose next to it would be more appropriate.
When we returned home from the farm the men got busy making barbie canoes and sewing on flowers. What great guys they are. The Barbie party was that night and we weren't quite ready yet, so they pitched in and sewed away. Their help was greatly appreciated!
Alyssa and Grandpa.
