Brea's 3rd Grade Roman Feast. Each year the kids have an event with their grade. This year, for Brea, was the Roman Feast. She enjoyed dressing up as a beautiful Roman princess, making crafts, playing games, eating Roman food, and having a chariot race. I volunteered to help with crafts, and ended up heading it. It was a lot of work, and creativity, but it turned out great and the kids had a good time. We made mosiacs, marshmallow/toothpick structures, and catapults. Jeff also helped out with his trumpet. He announced the start of the Roman Feast in each classroom and started off the games and chariot races. I wish I had a picture or him, he was great - full costume with trumpet raised high he caught the kids attention for sure.
