Jackies 12th Birthday

Jackie planned her 12th birhtday for months in advance.  She knew she wanted to go to the mall with friends.  She invited three close friends (it was hard to choose) and spent a couple hours strolling through the mall.  They got to pick a couple of things out for themselves.  They are sweet girls and decided they wanted to get their Moms and christmas gift instead of spending the money on themselves.  They each goth their Moms a scented candle with a cute lid.  They also had a fun time at the wig store.  I let the girls try on wigs and then the lady said she had some that were a little more worn in the back.  She brought them out and they were the right colors of the girls hair.  Because they were worn they were on sale at a great price, so I bougth the girls wigs.  They enjoyed have a bit longer hair than normal.  We eneded our day at orange julius of course.  My baby girl is growing up way too fast.  She is a great girl, always trying her best to do what is right.  She is having a great year in 6th grade at the Vanguard school and works extra hard at getting homework, piano, forensics, and swimming lessons all done.  She was so excited to enter Young Womens and is loving it. This picture does not show how excited she is, but believe me she was.  Her Dad was the one to graduate her from primary and send her off to Young Womens - pretty neat.  She earned her Faith in God award right after she turned 11.  Now she is off and working on personal progress.  We love our Jackie and the great big sister she is.
