The kids school has an annual Father/Daughter dance. Jackie always looks forward to her special date with Dad. This year the theme was Country Western. Jackie enjoyed slow dancing with her Papa!
The fast dances were fun as well. They reenacted them for Mom at home. Jackie was very happy, you can see the joy in her face as she dances with Dad.
Well, this year Brea is Kindergarten so that meant that this Father/Daughter dance included two girls. Brea has watched Jackie go for the last three years and was very excited to join them. Jackie wasn't thrilled to have to share Dad, but she understood that it was necessary. Brea showed Mom how she danced with Dad as well.
This year they also did a Mother/Son dance. I was excited to have a special night with Dallin and he was excited to be included in the fun. Dad told him before he left about being a gentleman on the date. He was such a gentlemen. He asked me if I wanted \food, stayed by my side most of the night, pulled my chair out for me, and got the door for me. He had a huge smile on his face all evening. At the end he said "This was the best night ever, I wish we could do this every night". It was a fun night and great memory.
