Dallins first Pine Wood Derby was a success! He enjoyed making the car with Dad and watching is speed down the track as it raced another car.

Dallin got an award that night, the Thomas S. Monson award. It is a really nice necklace with a picture of President Monson. He wore it with pride. The hardest part of the award was calling up his cousin on the phone and talking to him about scouting. It took some time, urging, and desire from him, but he was able to accomplish it. He has great scout leaders that helped him earn most of it.
The girls lined up on their bellies to watch the cars speed by.
Drew enjoyed his first Pine Wood Derby and wanted to stay to the very end. He is excited for next year.
Sister Anderson admired their cars and cheered them on.
